Who Are We?

Credit Works Directors are Carole Stott and Finbar Lillis. Carole and Finbar are actively engaged in delivering the work, with one overseeing each project. Both work directly and practically on every assignment to see how research evidence, theories and technical specifications can be used to bring about real benefits.

Carole Stott

Carole Stott has over 25 years experience in education, spanning schools, further, higher and adult education. She has extensive experience at Chief Executive and senior management levels. She has a particular interest in the development of policy and strategy, and how these are then implemented in practice. She is currently Chair of the Board of Governors at City Lit in London, a member of the AOC Governors Council, and a trustee of Helena Kennedy Foundation.

Finbar Lillis

Finbar Lillis has worked in education for over 25 years, in the private, public and voluntary sectors both in the UK and abroad. After working in training and development in industry, Finbar managed multi-purpose projects with disadvantaged communities in England. He then went on to managing and working on national and international research projects and influencing education reform in the UK and overseas. His extensive experience in the corporate and community sectors brings a fresh and informed perspective to the reform of curriculum and qualifications.
