Credit Works

Influencing and Shaping Policy and Practice

Credit Works is a leading authority in the development and reform of curriculum and qualifications. We use action research to shape and support implementation of reform. Our approach is innovative, practical and collaborative.

Company directors are Carole Stott and Finbar Lillis, who provide key research and consultancy services and management of projects. Additional expertise and scope are provided through partnerships and working with associates where appropriate in order to provide a high quality, flexible and cost effective service.

Our work has influenced and shaped reform policy in almost all areas where we have been active – lessons learned from our support programmes and action research have influenced and shaped strategy for implementing credit frameworks in England Wales, Northern Ireland and Sweden.

This website provides information and updates on our latest work and commissions, access to past and newly published reports and direct links to relevant pages on other websites - at QCA, LSC and other key agencies involved in the reform of curriculum and qualifications in the UK.

Work with us

Credit Works has recently been awarded a framework agreement with the Quality Improvement Agency. We already work in partnership with large professional service companies, providing specialist advice and expertise.

We are looking to increase the range of individual consultants, partnerships and companies that will collaborate with us or act as subcontractors in the delivery of Credit Works projects from July 2007.
